The world is in an unrestful state as the global economy is close to the end of its 10 years-long spiral downward. Although Singapore might be the last place of order and stability around the globe, there, the Singapore government is struggling to save the country from complete collapse. Police enforcement, just like other government services, is not being funded. Private Detectives are increasingly the first option for citizens who have the money to cover a bit of justice.
Amira Darma was once a rising star in INTERPOL. The first of her clients will be arriving at her office after she has opened her new workplace, since she’s a private investigator located in Chinatown.
Chinatown Detective Agency, inspired by Carmen Sandiego’s game from the 90s and 80s, is an adventure mystery game that lets you explore Singapore, and around the world, searching for criminals, people of interest, and valuable objects. In the course of working with people who are both good-intentioned but as well shadowy, you’ll need to find the answers and leads you are seeking.
On the way you’ll unravel a maze of conspiracy theories and plots which are threatening to send into the Lion City over the edge.
