Return to Monkey Island Game Review

The Return To Monkey Island is an unexpected spectacular return of the series creator Ron Gilbert that continues the legend of the classic adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge created in partnership with Lucasfilm Games.

Guybrush Threepwood has been a long time since he was last involved in an intellectual struggle against LeChuck, his vampire pirate enemy. His love of his life, Elaine Marley, has focused her energy on being a leader, and Guybrush himself has become lost and unhappy, never having discovered the Secret of Monkey Island. The youngand hip pirates led by Captain Madison, have removed the guards of the past. Melee Island is now at a crossroads and Stan an entrepreneur who is well-known has been sentenced prison for “marketing-related infractions”.

Talk to old friends and make new ones on the well-known islands which are under a new and dangerous administration. Then, take to the seas, and discover the unexplored and unfamiliar in your quest to get through difficult situations. Clever puzzles, bizarre situations and devastating counter-attacks are all that stand between Guybrush and the glory of his work.
