Return to Monkey Island, Ron Gilbert’s unexpected and thrilling return is an expansion of his legendary adventure games The Secret of Monkey Island (and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge), which were made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.

There have been a long time when Guybrush Threepwood was last locked in a fight of wits against his foe, the zombie pirate LeChuck. His love of his life, Elaine Marley, has switched her attention away from the governing process and Guybrush himself is adrift and unfulfilled, having never discovered his way to the Secret of Monkey Island. Young, hip pirate leaders, led by Captain Madison, have removed the old guard. Melee Island is now unstable and Stan, a well-known businessman has been sentenced prison for “marketing-related violations”.

Chat with your old friends and make new ones on the familiar islands that are now under a brand new and risky leadership. In the next episode, you’ll venture off to open oceans to explore the world of unknown as you try to tackle difficult issues. Ingenious puzzles, bizarre scenarios and outrageous rebuttals are the only things standing between Guybrush and glory.
